In her 25 years as a practicing attorney, Vicky Boladian has developed a strong expertise in the complex field of tax law.

 

Since 2008, she has utilized this knowledge in guiding aircraft-owning clients through multi-state sales and use tax exemptions, property tax valuations and appeals, federal excise tax compliance, and federal and state income tax audit representation.  Ms. Boladian has achieved a 100% success rate in securing use tax exemptions, has reduced countless property tax bills, and has saved her clients millions of dollars in state and federal tax appeals.  

 

Ms. Boladian has spoken on aviation tax issues to various organizations, including the National Business Aviation Association (“NBAA”) and Helicopter Association International. She is a member of the NBAA Tax Committee.  Ms. Boladian has been selected by Southern California Super Lawyers as one of the top attorneys in the Southern California region from 2014 to 2023 and named to the Top 50 Women Lawyers in that area for several years.  She is ranked in the Chambers & Partners High Net Worth Guide as one of the top aviation attorneys worldwide.

 

Prior to founding Boladian Aviation Law Group, Ms. Boladian worked for Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young.  At Andersen, she assisted high net-worth clients on a wide variety of complex tax law issues.  At Ernst & Young, she represented corporations, partnerships, and individuals in audits by the Internal Revenue Service and the California Franchise Tax Board.  Ms. Boladian is also a licensed real estate broker and has handled both residential and commercial real estate transactions.  A 1997 graduate of the Boston University School of Law, she received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of California at Irvine in 1994.
